Love taking my husky to this awesome little gem. He thoroughly enjoys jumping in the creek and running up and down the various hills. This one could burn up the legs of someone not expecting elevation changes. Maybe the rating should be raised a bit.

Trail was narrow with low hanging branches. Not always clearly marked and some trees have fallen in the path. There were numerous small off chutes making the trail difficult to follow.

Rated “Easy,” but I would rate it “Moderate.” A nice surprise for those who’ve not been to Pleasant Ridge before. A very pretty trail with more elevation changes and steep grades than indicated above. Also, it’s not a single trail but rather a network of trails, so your hike much longer than one mile. A number of creek crossings on bridges, one crossing on stones.

We used to explore these woods when we were kids. I'd forgotten about this park. Took my dog on the trail today. Nice elevation changes. Great family park. Picnic tables and bathrooms available.
