Very easy loop. Pretty even ground and wide trail. More enjoyable that the other trails here - with that came more foot traffic and other hikers to pass.

Short loop that goes up and through a 1930's era pine planting. Scenic views of Apple River's east branch along the northeastern part of the loop. A nice add-on if you come to Apple River Canyon to hike its more famous trails.

Very nice, wooded path with views of the river. A little hilly and not very long but very enjoyable!
