Here usually once a week in spring through fall with our pups. Great trail and easy although there are some spots a little tricky. Prefer going during the week as not so crowded. Make sure to bring skeeter and tick repellent for yourself and pups.

Horses are not allowed on the trail around the lake at Rock Cut State park. They are only allowed on the Equestrian trail on the North side of the park.

These trails are easily accessible and well maintained but do not have any views of the lake.

A good scenic hike, there are a lot of opportunities to see wildlife. I would not say that it is moderately difficult if you do any intentional walking 2-3 times a week.

In Rock Cut State Park. Leisurely pace, takes 2-2.5 hours with dogs & kids.
