HikingGreat!

A very smooth and easy trail! Not too many people during this season. There were markers to help guide you!

Definitely a little wet out but the cool weather makes up for that. Later today, the conditions will be perfect.

Great trail. Easy to traverse and long enough to get in a decent workout.

Except for the sand they laid down in certain areas, the trails are great. Always fun.......

Trails a little damp. Managed to pick up a few ticks. Not even in the woods much. Not much shade on the trails.

Hiking

Such a fun walk. We only did half of it but that was still 3.5mi. We are going back to do the other side. And there’s still another part that connects. It’s huge. There are a lot of swamp like areas. So I probably won’t go when it’s warm out because I hate tons of bugs. Lol! In 55 degree weather it was perfection. Can’t wait to come back.

Snowshoeing

I just bought snowshoes. We got a “little” snow overnight so it was a perfect opportunity for me to try them out. I could have explored all day, but I didn’t have all day. It was a great hike and fun in my new snow shoes.

Horseback riding

I’m not sure why it says it’s such a short route. We ride here for several hours and never back trail. There is a paved loop through the woods but also off road trails going through open prairie and back through the woods. There is 2 sides of park to ride through. This is a fantastic place to ride.

Hiking

Trail is mostly out in the open with little shade. The trail is made of gravel ,and is well maintained. There were a few nice views of the railroad track nearby. Nothing incredible about this path ,but I’d come back someday.

Running

The main trails are short to mid distance, which is great for shorter runs, but there are some gnarly hills thrown in there. Not a lot of shade on the 3 mile main trail, just one area of tree shade, so be mindful.

My way was better. The path is lame, for runners and bicyclists. Lol
