This route covers half the trail with a shortcut back through the tent campground. The trail tracks along the edge of the lake at Forbes State Park. There are a lot of up and down hills as it routes around coves. There is more trail than covered here. A large number of wildflowers bloom in the summer months.

Some of the trail is very narrow and has tall growth on either side. The view of the lake was very nice. We did see a deer on the trail which was very cool.

Nice little trail. Nice trek if you are camping. Nice scenery with some decent exercise.

Not bad, it was also easy with rolling hills, some areas you could see the lake, nothing spectacular but if camping worth it as part of you day hikes
