McDowell Grove Forest Preserve is a 7.5 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Naperville, Illinois that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

It is a mix between prairie and forest trails with portions alongside the river. The trails are well-maintained and perfect for the easy category hike.

Beautiful place. trails range from mowed paths to some dirt to crushed stone, even paved 1 small part. There's a dam in the south and beautiful trails throughout. If you make it all the way down to the dam (like i did). If you keep going, you will end up out on Raymond Dr. Sidewalk on the east side of the street and it's a not so naturey walk back to the car, lol... still had a great time.
