Fantastic trail with plenty of challenges, wildlife and scenery. Loud Thunder is one of the best kept secrets in this area. This is a must do if you are in Rock Island County.

Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was just like others the trail is not well marked. Good mixture of terrain, we prefer going back behind horse corral.

I did not get to the hiking trail, but Lake George is an easy nice paddle. Went 5 miles around the lake. Very calm, peaceful, and quiet. (But it was a Monday Afternoon)

Terrible trails. Nothing marked due to funding, I wouldnt give this one star... find a different trail!

Would recommend for hikers and those with dogs. Woody and when more leaves come in, shady. Right now it's still muddy from.recent rains and flood.

There's also a six and a half mile multi-use loop on the south end of the park. The majority of the trail is wooded but maybe a fourth of it passes through open meadows. It's one of the better trails of the surrounding area and is moderately difficult. Be warned though, the trails are not marked at all and it would be a good idea to download the map of the park from their website to your smartphone ahead of time.

This is a neat place. Not too difficult but there is a little bit of steep terrain. The trails aren't well marked. There's about 2 miles designated to hiking but about 8 more miles of mixed trails for hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking. It was a good workout.

Nice place, trail could be better marked. Excellent fishing on the Spring before algae bloom.

Trails are not clearly marked. Was a nice hike with decent elevation changes for the Midwest. Really more than the two miles posted. If you calculate you are over twelve miles easy. In went this fall and did get to see an eight point buck cross in front of me.

Good trails which have a lot of up and down going around the lake. However, the trails are more deer trails and are not too developed. However, there is good fishing in Lake George.
