Some nice views and the trail is well made in terms of material, but some of the angles result in the trail getting easily waterlogged after storms, making it muddy and almost impassable in spots on such occasions.

Really nice trail for what you find in the city. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to walk or run. It is crushed limestone and has parking in the Forest Preserve. It does have a nice little hill you can use for hill sprints. One of the few in the city of Aurora

Beautiful crushed limestone trail around the lake and a decent size hill next to it. Great for running, then going up the incline. Beautiful views of the lake an surrounding area.
