Hillside Trail Loop is a 0.7 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Hudson, Illinois that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and mountain biking and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

October 25, 2020August 7, 2020A little hilly trail in the woods. While not as scenic as the hilly trails near Peoria and the Illinois River, it is a nice short trail through a hilly woods. What really makes the trail special is the boardwalk in the second part of the loop.
June 1, 2020A hidden gem. This trail would be a magical place for kids. The trail winds through the woods and has several bridges along the way. There are some elevation changes, but the short distance gives this trail it’s easy difficulty rating.

First to ReviewNice trail that goes through the woods. No overlooks but the woods are nice. Lots of oaks, maples, and hickories. Not too much up hill. This trail looks like it links up to the bovine trail but that's only possible if it's been dry. The water that runs over the dam makes the connection impossible.
