Great little hike, lots of cool places to explore and climb around on if you want. Starts on top of High Knob and circles under a cool bluff line. Great overlook facing west for sunsets and a trail tree. Lots of moss means green in the winter! Slick when wet! You have to drive through High Knob Campground to get here. Public road but please be careful; watch for horses, people and dogs!
Short. Travel time to reward ratio is very small.
January 30, 2018 Bright sunshine glinting off dripping icicles! Some trail markers obscure but just follow the clift face around the rocky point! Yes, moderate for rock rumble, moss & some elevation. But a fast easy-to-do trail.
Good short hike, some really cool crevasses and an old Indian Trail tree
