This trail connects two very fun places - Danada Equestrian Center and Herrick Lake. The trail is relatively flat and very scenic - a nice lake, small forests, prairies, and an awesome equestrian center (lessons only- no trail rides).

Very nice preserve, Well kept, easy way around. Well mapped. Was 1st time through, will ride again, I ride in Wisconsin living there. If U ride to Danada to Butterfield gets tricky and steep in one section. Enjoy

Beautiful trees in November. Also it's a real lake! The dock is nice too!

Beautiful and well-kept. Running can be a bit treacherous at times with all of the bicycles speeding through in packs. Let people know that you are approaching quickly and preparing to pass!

Nice, wide crushed rock trails. Some shade on parts of the trail, but most of it is open fields. Due to all the different activities available (hiking, biking, fishing & boating) the area was pretty busy. Found 2 ticks on one of the kids after the hike, so stay on the trails.
