Great Western Trail is a 11.8 mile moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Lombard, Illinois that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Good if you are wanting to go far without a lot of elevation changes or curves. If you are wanting something a bit more natural this isn’t it but it does give you a nice little tour of the suburbs. The frequent stops at intersections can get somewhat annoying though.

Very flat , nice crushed limestone. Several street crossings . Not very interesting scenery.

beautiful spot. i took my dog running there and we both had a good time. there are many branching trails so navigation is a little confusing. the park there is nicely secluded, but like most local parks, you don't really get too far from the road noise.
