Winter hiking. Eagles and frozen waterfalls.
Awesome location with beautiful scenery, tons of canyons to explore and waterfalls to cool off in. 10/10 would hike again.
Love hiking to this waterfall. You have to straddle the small creek with your feet on either side of the canyon entrance to get up to the waterfall, but it is not hard to do.
All the trail in Starved rock are great. This one is closer in to the trailhead than many but is overlooked because it is a dead end. But, it is well worth it.
