Not bad for a trail close to Rockford but should be rated easy instead of moderate. Flat and wide, level trail. Nice sections along Kishwaukee River. Worth your time.

Trail along river is very wet and muddy. Waterproof shoes recommended. Much of area is a flood plain and looks like it will be very buggy so replant is recommended. My hike was 4.4 miles. But there was a loop that had so deep water to cross which might make it the 5.1 as advertised. Many trail options. Was pleasant hike. Had my little Dog with me and he did fine.
