I grew up going to this trail and just visited again last week. Absolutely beautiful, well-maintained, and quiet. Lots of ducks and their ducklings this time of year, which was fun to see. Not a lot of leaves on the trees yet but that just meant there was a lot of sun :)

Nice, well kept trail. Crushed rock. Was crowded but i went on Sunday around 2:30 so, my own fault. There were a decent amount of other runners/walkers but the majority of people were riding bikes. Lots of beautiful views going from prairie to marshy to forest.

I ended up getting lost at this trail. But it was my very first trail run so I had to learn how to read trail maps and colors. And pay attention to the turns. Other than that. It was great. I was only going to run 9 miles and needed up running 14.21 because I got lost. Oops. Enjoy!
