Getting to the trailhead is a process, but it is very do-able in a sedan.   Park at yellow jacket ranger station, which is no longer used as a ranger station. You follow a creek almost the entire 10 miles so water shouldn't be an issue. If you're looking for wildflowers this is the spot, there are many wildflowers of all different kinds the entire 10 miles. The hike leads to Yellow Jacket Lake which is also accessible via a forest road.  There is also an amazing waterfall.
