Did the trail on 3/16/2020 and only made it about a mile in before we decided to turn around on account of all the slush and water in the canyon. For the small part of the trail we did see, was very beautiful and will definitely be hitting it up again in the summer!

Awesome trail! The scenery is beautiful and great for training tough terrain.

We started up the right loop. This trail is pretty good to run for the first 4 miles. Then the trail almost disappeared. It needs maintenance. Made it halfway around the loop at 6 miles and turned around. The double loop is likely more than 25 miles. Not all that good for hiking after mile 5 either. I haven’t gone to the left, can’t say how the trail is.

It's not a bad trail, but if you want to spend a day hiking in Idaho, there are plenty of more scenic spots to hit.
