The length, trail maintenance, and markings make this an easy hike. The actual hike itself is more of a moderate level hike. Beautiful views, but our experience was tainted by a man smoking at the top.

Trail was moderate. Hike to the waterfall first then finished the Loop.

Unfortunately the trail is currently closed due to bear activity. It does look beautiful though and we love this area so low rating is only since we couldn’t do it today . Better luck next time.

This is a great short hike. The hike isn't easy. I don't understand how AllTrails rates trails, but the trailhead even describes this hike as intermediate. The entrance to the trail is hard to see, and it is to the left of the signage. It was hiding behind some piles of gravel. Taking the loop to the left isn't as steep. There were tons of huckleberries in mid July. The summit has vast breathtaking views of Sandpoint and Lake Pend Oreille.

Quick and easy trail - little bit of a climb at first if taking starting on the trail on the right side

We came back to do the Viewski trail again and decided to veer off for the Waterfall trail, which has signs posted. If you want to access just the Waterfall hike, follow Viewski to the left first and then keep an eye out for signs. It’s about 0.7 down to the falls, with a hike back up. My 8yo was able to do it. The beauty is worth it. There are mosquitos near the water.

Great Trail. Breathtaking views. A MUST SEE! The trail is washed out at the end (if going clockwise) took us awhile to figure out how to get back up the the car but if you just follow the dirt road right there at the end of the trail it will bring you around to a road leading you straight to the parking lot. I can’t wait to go visit Sandpoint again so I can do this hike again. One of my favorites ever done in Idaho!!

Near the beginning of the trail you can turn left it go straight. We went left and found the trail was partially washed out, but there was a shortcut to bypass that part. If you want to experience the three overlooks grim least impressive to most impressive, go straight instead of turning left. If you want to end your hike with the three overlooks, turn left instead of going straight. Very pretty. Only ran into two other hiking parties. Took about an hour and fifteen minutes. Stopped to enjoy the views, and dawdled to take photos.

Nice and short loop hike. My wife and I did this after a 7 mile hike and it was nice and relaxing . 3 nice overlooks on the hike. Well maintained and good for a quick fix.

Nice short little loop trail. Some incline but nothing too difficult. Three great lookout points where you can get wonderful views of Sandpoint, Lake Pend Oreille and the mountains beyond. Good for kids. As of this writing there is still a little snow and ice on the backside but it is easily traversed. Trail is a little muddy but nothing too bad.

The first half of the hike is completely dry. The second half has sections of snow still sticking around. We still managed to tmdo the entire trail, our feet were just a little wet at the end 5/21/20

Super cool trail! It's easy, has great views, and the surrounding forest is beautiful. As of mid-May, there's still a good amount of snow on the north side. We got snow all in our ankle length shoes so just be prepared for that.

Great trail for snowshoeing. The view ski loop itself isn’t that long. We turned off and followed the blue trail that took us up to the waterfall. That made the loop totally worth it.
