great easy trail for all ages! Beautiful views and great views! Does get very packed during the summer because most people hike this trail. A lot of people do take their pets here with them. The best time to go in the summer is the early morning because it is not as packed then.

A calming way to end a day. I did it straight from work wearing rain boots and had no issues.

Can't believe I've lived in the area so long without hitting up this trail til now! Good variety of incline and decent, but still super easy. Pet and kid friendly. Free parking by the park as long as your not parked longer than 2 hrs.

Nice hike with great views and lots of picture opportunities. Lots of people there. Once finished we went to Mcuen Park which is right there. Ran into a little deer on the trail our kids loved it

A beautiful and easy hike right in the heart of CDA. I walk it several times a year. It’s very busy during the summer months, but perfect and lightly trafficked in early spring

Absolutely beautiful, kid and dog friendly, but getting more and more crowded. Fairly annoying for the first 1/2 mike and then it’s fine.

What a nice little trail! tons of lookout areas and several beach spots where you can take a dip. I have been down this trail many times and over the years it has become increasingly busy, but I can see why. This is a great close by hike!

A little muddy today, 2/11/18 but still beautiful! Will definitely go back.

Very nice hike in winter on weekdays when some solitude is possible. Currently trail is bare on south side by the lake. I use yak trax for trips on side trails to the top and for icy areas on the north side. Scenery is excellent in several places along the trails. Lots of various spur paths are present to mix up a routine when hiking this often.

Good hike. Best views I found were off the trail slightly. There are smaller trials you can follow to get to the water. I highly recommend straying off the main path if you want to see some beautiful sites.

Great if you don't want to wander too far out as it starts in downtown CDA. Easy trail with breathtaking views of CDA lake

SUPER CROWDED trail, but probably the easiest in the area and most family friendly for kiddos.

Great for walking or a morning run. Tubbs Hill is kept up and has a main trail and upper trail to wander on. In the summer you will find people cliff jumping off rocks. For you climbers out there, bring your gear and a brush- there are some hidden gems off the trail to boulder if you can clean up the rocks a tad.

Good for the tourist and locals who like to be in the mix. A little too crowded for me but decent. I use to run this trail for soccer when I lived downtown and went to the college.

Love Tubbs, we run it almost every day. There's beautiful views of the lake and town, and some awesome places to watch the sun set.

Always love this hike! So easy and fun and many beaches along the way. My dog always loves this one too. Just a relaxing stroll, if you want a bit of a challenge or just to change things up, take the upper trail, it's a bit more difficult and just fun to try every once in a while.

Nice hike, especially early in the morning. It got noticeably busier by the time we got back. But just can't figure out why we did almost 4 miles on a 2 mile loop trail... maybe we just took too many side trails to see the water views.

Tubbs is a very easy hike with amazing views. The only issue is that if you hike midday during summer it is going to be a packed trail because people come to swim as well off this trail. you can hike this pretty much tear round depending on how much snow we get in winter. there are a couple side trails off the main path which are very steep and is a little more difficult to get down to the main trail depending on the side trail you take. keep right and you will stay on the main trail.

Tubb's Hill hike is always a quick way to take a tour of the north shore of the lake. As always, the scenery was lovely. As expected on a summer weekend, it was quite crowded in places. The day was hot, but the breeze off of the lake surely took the edge off the temperature.
