Trail Creek Lakes is a 15.7 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Stanley, Idaho that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and bird watching and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Little shade but doable. It’s July 16th and about 80°. I suggest starting at 8 AM. The higher you go in elevation the more luxurious wildflowers you come across. I counted 13 different flowers along the way. The river is close in the first mile for water that you could filter yourself.
