I drove this from Victor to Ashton during the fires back in the 80's because the road was closed in Yellowstone. We wanted to get to the Firehole river swimming hole and this was the only way. Nice drive along the foothills of the Tetons

I drove from Victor to Ashton on this route. It is very beautiful on a clear summer day. Good views of the Tetons as well as gently rolling fields of wheat. I never expected the Idaho side of the Tetons to be so stunning.

We drove through here and walked some. It was a lovely route. Highly recommend.

I love this drive. Every time I go to the Tetons, I enjoy taking this highway from Idaho Falls to Victor. Swan Valley is so beautiful, and this area always helps me get excited about my adventures in the area.
