This is not Shingle Creek, near Dry Creek. This is Bobs Trail and 8th Street.

A lot of mtn bike traffic. Decent climbs and views. The section along the road sucks. More of a trail for a quick run near Boise than one that is worthwhile for hiking and sightseeing.

This is a nice and quiet trail minus the occasional biker that goes flying by. You definitely want to keep your ears open and stop every now and then to make sure a biker is not coming. PAY ATTENTION to the trail on the app because this is really two different trails and a road that make up the trail. If you start on the top part of the trail on the app it will say Bob’s trail which will lead you most of the way until the top where you go on the gravel road for a little while. Everything considered it’s a good trail and workout.

Great little loop, there was still water in the creek, but it will be drying up soon.
