Beautiful scenery! A good first hike to kick your butt back into shape. We drug our 8 kids ranging from 15-2 and they all had a blast!

Great hike! Mountain biking, hikers, and horseback were all in the trail. The wind was swift over Memorial Day, which made this perfect. The trail markers are located in the perfect spots. Great views, but keep in mind, no shade on this hike as it hasn’t hit the tree line.

May 2018 - Beautiful day for a hike. Expansive views of Boise and beyond. Went mid-week during the day, and there was still plenty of traffic on the trail, mostly mountain bikers. Wildflowers in bloom this time of year, and the grass is so GREEN! I would rate this on the easier side of "moderate". Definitely a couple good inclines to get the heart going, but plenty of trail to rest in between.
