Our 8 mile hike was the perfect distance. The trail is easy to find, you start at the parking lot and walk on the left side of the river the whole time following an easy trail. (don't cross the bridges, different trail) On the hike you'll see a bridge 3.5miles into it. We walked another mile on the left side of the river and we finally saw (across the river) a stream coming down the mountain. We then walked across the river (1.5ft deep) and took our boots off. There's a trail that goes straight up the hill by that stream and it took us right to the hot springs! Two little pools at are nice and warm after a day of hiking. Will be going again!
