Went on this trail with my dog, super awesome and very beautiful flowers along the way. Great exercise in the fresh air for both of us.

Beautiful hike! The flowers and views are amazing. The lake is pretty lame, more of a large puddle. (And no fish). My Apple Watch said the lake is 5.3 miles back in there.

Pretty hike. Trail is longer than stated. The trail is also not marked with this name. It is marked with the name "Sawtelle Trail." Pretty views and even some fresh snow that fell last night! There was enough old snow for us to slide down.

Pleasant hike although a bit longer than the 7.3 miles stated round trip. Especially if you want to view the lake - we turned back before viewing the lake stated in the description. Trail is easy to follow and has several ups and downs through beautiful flower meadows with mountains all around. Although says bear country we only saw a dear at a distance. Start early before other hikers arrive for a quiet hike. It is along CDT so expect others along the way. Great 4 hour hike in the area.

Impassable as of 06/10, but gorgeous view from the trailhead! Would love to do when the weather improves.
