So many fellow hikers, trail runners, and bikers as expected on any trail this close to town. Some bikers need to SLOW DOWN as the only way I knew they were behind me was the sound of the bikes. Not the trails fault. Everyone else was very friendly. Very nice time.

Fun trail! Took my 1.5 year old in a pack for most of the trail. There are quite a few bikers but everyone I’ve ever met is kind and it’s not a big deal to share the trail. Pretty views of Boise and the foothills!

Starting at Camel’s back (tennis courts) it is a very nice 6 mile loop! If there was any shade trees this trail would get all five stars!

Nice trail with beautiful views, but way too many bikers on it for comfort. It seemed like every five minutes we had to move to the side to let someone pass.

One of the most beautiful and easy to get into trails that's also so close to Boise!

Was a great hike with our 4 kids. Saw a coyote at the top that walked right in front of us trying to get away. We beat the rain storm so we timed it perfectly. Very family friendly trail! Be sure to eat some homemade ice cream at Goody’s on 13th when your done. Was very good!

Clearly marked trail, low vegetation, full sun (depending on time of day-we went in evening). There is a small stream towards the north west end of the trail. The trail could be a gateway to many other trails.

On the Wednesday night we hiked, we saw 30+ bikers. There were also other hikers and trail runners. Trail is well loved and popular-bonus people are super friendly and respectful!

This is an off leash dog-friendly area, but be prepared to have your dog under control at all times-due to the varied trail usage.

Beautiful in early spring

Great hike! Lots of other folks with their dogs, mountain bikers, runners, walkers — you name it. I will definitely be doing this again!

This is a nice little hike to take with your kids and dogs but watch out for the occasional bicyclist. Especially around blind spots, they pick up speed and can be a bit scary! Also, depending on the weather the path can become muddy but the views when you get there, are rewarding.

Great little loop! Heavily trafficked with mountain bikes and dogs since this is an off leash trail. Nice short and sweet hike close in town.

Good visually. Lots of birds but also tons of mountain bikers. Makes bird photography difficult at times. Popular wedding photo area during golden hours.

Nice hike with some good views of the valley. No shade to speak of, so be aware of that in warm weather.

Not a bad set of trails here. Classic Boise foothills action. Lots of dust and sagebrush. The trail today was pretty crowded, with hikers, trail runners, and mountain bikers. That is why I only rated it a 3. Bring plenty of water and have a good time. Nothing too challenging about the trail, other than the traffic. Also, this wasn't 3 miles round trip. Much closer to 5 miles. 4.7 to be exact.
