Great views / long hike.

There is a shorter loop for this trail that is perfect for a day hike. About 11 miles beautiful views of both Miner lake and Prarie Lake. Passible snowpack on both Miner and Prairie trails. Look carefully for the cut across from Miner to Prarie...maps at the NRA Visitors center clearly show this route. A few river crossings and some trees down but navigable. Great day of hiking...good luck if you try it on a Mt bike.

Great hike. This trail is off. Just follow signs. Saw plenty of deer and mountain goats at lake miner. Lake miner trail is much steeper so go Prairie and then come down via miner.

You definitely need a camera for this one. The views are worth the trip!

I'd come prepared with a camera, a bike with 5" of travel, good brakes, and nice wide tires. The descent is shale'y in places, kinda sketchy in places, and awesome the whole time. The climb is fun, 100% ridable, and keeps you on your game. If you're an advanced rider you can probably clean the descent without problems. These tech downhill sections are easily walkable. The views from Prairie/Minor intersection are worth it.
