HikingGreat!

Nice trail, I was a little worried when we had to walk on the road towards the beginning, but it became a fun little hike after that and honestly surprised me.

Easy trail until you reach the rock climbing that goes on for a half a mile then it changes to moderate.

HikingGreat!

A very well marked trail. We heading clockwise instead of counter clockwise. Found the trail to be a very nice hike down to the river. Heading out, we found a part of the trail to be a little bit challenging and a difficult steep climb over rocks uphill for about 7/10s of a mile. Not sure if going counter clockwise would make the descend over the rocks any better. Either way that spot needs to be navigated slowly and very carefully. I would hike this trail again but not today!!!

Good hike, if you start on the right and go counter clockwise, you will hit the lake at the end, but then steady uphill climb back. If you go clockwise, you will hit the lake pretty quick and then have to sort of rock climb back up. I have done it both ways. It was a tougher hike going counter clockwise.

The fist mile was pretty easy all down hill, the river was beautiful. about 2 ish miles it got really ruff. some serious rock scrambles for about 2 miles with lots of elevation. I used this trail as a practice for my upcoming Backpacking trip so I had a 31 pound pack on had I known about the rock scrambles I probably would have not did that.

This is the second time I have done this trail and I love it. I will say the climb back up is trying, alot of rock steps and you have to be looking up in some places to see the yellow circle symbol to stay on trail, but it is fairly easy to follow and so worth all the beautiful diverse terrain.

Excellent trail. Very well marked with yellow disks. Starts out wide and flat but finishes narrow and steep.

Hiking

Very clearly marked trails. we did the yellow one clockwise. Pretty easy until the last quarter or so of uphill. one stretch had pretty steep rock trail that can be considered advanced. About a mile from end saw this really cool dead fallen tree. About 4' across with massive bleached branches up to 20' long. looked like a whale skeleton.

This is definitely not an easy hike due to a couple boulder scrambles necessary to hike the “easy” parts. I wouldn’t advise anyone with young children or bad knees. There are a couple overlooks that are definitely worth the effort and a couple small beaches for summer swimming. Stay safe!

This is not an easy hike. Part of it is easy but there are steep rocky areas. It is pretty well marked except for a few places that the trail was all rock. We saw lots of flowers and listened to a variety of birds.

What was initially a beautiful easy hike became very difficult, we lost our trail several times and struggled to find our way out. I had difficulty with the steep climbs with no where to rest. It ended being much to difficult for me and I worried I may need help to get out. I love hiking in the woods but I don't think I will be back to this trail.

Great local trail with expansive views and river runs. A few rocky scramble and wet areas. Well-maintained trails and signage. Would go back again.

This trail is not really meant for strollers as I found out. the main trail isnt to bad however if you go on any side trails there's going to be a lot of up and down hills with rocks
