Great viewpoints of the dam and river. A nice, gentle ride with lots of places to stop for food.

We started at Coeur d’Alene resort. Trail was hard to find because of all the other sidewalks. First recommendation is this. DONT GO EAST!!! That path will quickly take you through what we call “normal Coeur d’Alene” which is a lot like Gary Indiana or east St. Louis. Lots of city streets and old broken down houses. GO WEST! That route will take you along the lake shore and river for a few miles before you get to I-90 (which is the bulk of the remaining trail into Spokane- see map). Summary: the trail has a few miles along lake that will take you through nicer homes, retail and the water treatment plant. Much of it is shared with cars and beach traffic. Nothing scenic about the trail, but ok enough... we won’t do it again. You can just ride around town for the same experience.

Great trail for leisure biking as well as a nice walk! There is plenty of room for everyone and is easily accessible! It also has the factor that it runs right along the Coeur d'Alene Lake and the Spokane River. It is great for those who like a long trail with a fairly even ground to ride, run or walk on.

This trail is amazing. Training for Ironman I struggled to find long bike rides and places to run. Having a trailhead a mile from my house made it easy to access. Some of the path towards Spokane is pretty bumpy but it comes with the territory. Runs along beautiful lake Coeur d'Alene and along the Spokane river. Great place for any length of distance ride with your family or safely by yourself!

Great trail for biking or running. Fun for all ages. The Post Falls part of the trail is not amicable. It goes through neighborhoods and on public roads, which can be dangerous with children. The trail is not well defined in these locations. The Coeur d'Alene section is great and I ride it daily.

I am certain that a mountain biking enthusiast added the information on the trail, but a die hard mountain cyclist would find this trail too easy, as the trail is set up as a multi use trail. On any given day you can find road cyclists, leisure cyclists, walkers, skateboarders, etc utilizing the trail.

I love the Centennial Trail, it is nice for biking, running, walking and dogs. Beautiful view of CDA lake and surrounding mountains. Some steep hills to climb lots of small rest areas where you can hike down to the water and even go for a swim weather permitting. During Dec. and Jan I follow it up to Higgins Point and do some Bald Eagle watching and it is fabulous!
