The trail runs across private property which is now closed due to mining. You can drive around behind the hill and come part way up behind the old mine site. There are remains of an old mill that are accessible without violating the posted area. Access to the old mine site is also prohibited from the back (north) as well

This might have been an actual trail at some point but it is now closed down and is an active mine site. You can’t walk this trail!

We took our kids and the dogs. Once we parked it was a little tough to tell which way to go. There was a sign that said “Danskin Trails” which ended up being the best route. It was a nice groomed trail on top of the hills. It went on for miles and miles. The dogs loved the open range and we enjoyed the mild hills. Easy for kids.
