Mogensen Trail is a 2.2 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Twin Falls, Idaho that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips and is best used from March until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Very nice, lots of waterfalls and neat side paths. It’s a cute dog friendly path, but they have to stay on leash!
Beautiful! I am so happy we hiked this trail. It gives a great view of the bridge and the surrounding rock formations. We saw bridge jumpers jump off the bridge. It was super cool. The main trail is nice but a bit grown over. Nothing too bad. I would suggest wearing pants. there are many off shoot trails towards the river. We walked down a few and found the view was magnificent. All in all, a great trail and would recommend.
Not a bad trail, fairly easy for kids. Took the left fork was able to get to one little water fall that was refreshing. Was also able to watch a few base jumpers jump off the bridge.
dude my first real hike amazing trail for first timers
Perfect time for this trail, weather was beautiful and bugs were minimal.
Ran into this trail while looking for another one. Make sure you take the first right to go down hill. Made the mistake of going forward, you end up on the high cliffs, which leads to a great view. Overall, enjoyed it. Some muddy parts due to the little streams and waterfalls along the way
Orginally we drove to Twin Falls to complete another hike, but ran into this trail first. For it being a two mile trail it was actually pretty fun. Trail starts off at a somewhat steep decline and leads to a good path along the river with a few small bridges. Almost the entire trail you are able to hear waterfalls. We were able to walk up to two waterfalls but see multiple the whole trail. Once you get past the bridge there is a spot to stand to watch the parachute jumpers off the bridge which is a neat experience. Easy for children and dogs.
We loved this trail with 3yr old and 22 month old. Really little kids will need some hand holding but getting to the waterfall and river is a blast! We found some shady spots to rest for snacks. Trail is mostly dirt with some protruding rocks. There is a short segment of loose shale. We'll be back.
Trail is hikeable right now. No snow. Nice and warm. Coming back up at the end is a little steep. There is an American flag at the end of the trail.
A fun and easy hike for families. My son and I spend a couple days a week on this trail when we’re waiting for summer hiking. It is beautiful in the late spring and summer. There is lots of stinging nettle, but some waterfalls to enjoy. On a nice day you’re sure to catch a BASE jumper if you walk all the way past the bridge
