Mineral to 1575 is a 5.4 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Coeur d'Alene, Idaho that features a lake and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
Whoever logged this trail must have just been drunkenly walking through the woods at night. Not saying I haven’t done that. But just warning you to expect that kind of trail. I agree with the other review. Stick with the marked trail. Especially since at the bottom there is a huge sign telling you to do so.
"Trail" is a really generous term for what amounts to various actual paths and roads connected by areas of felled trees and bushes that are nearly impossible to navigate. I'm all for exploring the woods, but this was a difficult and unpleasant journey. Just take the Mineral Ridge trail.
