Nice hike with beautiful views. I would rate it moderate. Lots of places to rest.

Easy hike with really just one great viewpoint looking west over the lake. Lots of benches along the way and some educational milestones as well to keep things interesting. It is a one way trail moving counterclockwise so the good viewpoint is almost the last thing you come to before heading down. Mostly shaded so it would probably be a good summer hike as well.

Please stay on the trail. People are creating shortcuts causing deep erosion in so many places on the beautiful mountain

Beautiful trail best done during the work week to avoid the crowds. Highly recommend extending the hike by following the sign to Wilson Trail / Lost Man trail on top of the ridge.

Beautiful, well-maintained trail. Lots of spurs/short cuts pose concern for future erosion issues. Excellent vistas from the ridge. Quite crowded. Parking is limited. Clean restrooms. Non-biting bugs were frequent.

Heavily wooded and coverage. I would still suggest sun screen and water. The walk was moderate and had some places that were slanted a bit. Overall, managed to use some of the smaller trailer and meet some friendly chipmunk/squirrel

BeUtiful and dry trails no site wild animals yet, peaceful. I finished 2.5 miles with my dogs. I forgot to turn off the recording until I went back to rented beautiful cabin by the lake lol

Very beautiful hike. The first part is all uphill but it wasn’t too bad

Great hike, pleasant amount of strenuous, beautiful views. Took about 45 minutes total with no breaks.

This is a great hike and worth doing for a quick escape from Coeur d'Alene. I really enjoyed the hike up to the ridge the most. 4 stars because the downsides are there are a lot of people, you can frequently hear cars, and the ridge is a view of the highway. Great trail overall though.

It’s a very nice trail you basically hike up all the way to the peak and then you walk all the way back down there is no in between. Good for family’s. Really nice view of Lake Coeur d’Alene

Good moderately short hike. It is shaded most of the way with one pretty good view of Lake CDA on the way down. Steady incline to the cabin. We went on a Monday and we saw quite a few people, I can imagine it would be pretty packed on the weekend. Trail was in good shape, no mud.

Great trail and we went onto Wilson trail which was narrow but ended up at a rock looking out to the East. Wilson had a couple patches of snow & mud.

Great trail. Quiet, but not many views. Perfect for a family.

Beautiful views!

Perfect!

Beautiful hike through forest. Pretty view of lake from top. Would rate as moderate to easy. Lots of switchbacks.

Arrived at trailhead around 1: pm and returned to car at 3: beautiful sunny day and the trail was in good condition. Dry wilt no blow down on trail. Got some great pictures and a moderate burn. There were few people on the trail so my puppy enjoyed her first time off leash. I recommend this trail. it has many awesome views of the lake.

Trail is in great shape for February — get ready for some muddy dogs if you bring a couple fur friends.
