This is a spectacular creekside trail in the Selway drainage. Unfortunately nearly all of the massive cedars along the lower section of the trail burned in 2015. Due to the somewhat recent fire, conditions on the trail may vary so expect to see logs across the trail as well as some overgrown sections. there are some major washouts starting at about 4.5 miles in, as a result the trail is currently closed to stock.
