Fantastic trail! A couple of great views of Mallard Peak and of the lookout on top. We turned SW just north of Mallard Lake and hiked over toward Northbound Lake, which provided amazing views of the mountain ranges to the south. Some north facing snow packs still visible as well. Several downed trees, some of which had to be hiked around. Aside from that, the trails are in excellent condition. Camped above Northbound and then returned by the same route. God is so awesome!!
