This short trail begins at the Redfish Inlet Campground, accessed by the trails 101 and 045, or by boat shuttle from Redfish Lake Lodge, which is just south of Stanley, ID on Highway 75 and Forest Service Roads 214/213. The round trip boat shuttle costs $17 per person and leaves on demand with at least two passengers. It climbs up to Lily Lake and then to Redfish Lake Creek Falls. It has a short but impressive waterfall, especially when visited in early summer. June gives the best water levels. The Redfish Lake Lodge/Marina serves as a full service lodge. Amazing view lily pond and the falls were amazing. When you get to the pond there’s a secret water fall spot too if you go right along pond instead of going left. Then you take your first right and then there’s a clump of waterfalls and a swimming hole. Be warned water is freezing cold.

Fun boat ride, easy trail, lovely views. Signs say bridge it out, but there is a nice tree that is easy to walk across.

Great trail! Nice and short if you just want an hour activity or so... lots of things to explore a long the trail - forested with lots of shade, big boulders for kids to climb. Nice and quiet on this side of the lake - had trail to ourselves the entire way.

Nice easy trail! It was fun to take the boat across the lake. Waterfall was pretty and lake was pretty as well, covered in lily pads. We caught the last boat back easily in under an hour after landing.

We took the boat across the lake for $17 per person. Hiked to the pond and onto the falls. So beautiful. Easy and quick back and forth in one hour just in time for the boat pick up. The falls are worth the hike. Enjoy.

This is a nice, short trail with a great payoff. The creek was flowing at river levels and the waterfall was loud! Lily Lake is cool too. We combined this with a hike to Alpine Lake and it made for a great day. PSA, the bridge over Redfish Lake Creek at the campground was destroyed at some point earlier in the year, but there is a large, sturdy log crossing in its place.

Short day hike and scramble around Lily Pond and redfish Falls. Fun way to spend a few hours with great picture opportunities of surrounding peaks lakes and rivers. Bridges out over Inlet which requires a log scramble to cross.
