Description
Waypoints (0)

This trail can be hiked as a loop or an out and back. There is one section that is reduced to a tightly vegetated single track, but it is passable. There are a couple somewhat steep gullies that may pose a challenge in snow. Otherwise, most of the trail is ancient logging road or double track. There are other trails up past the northern most edge of this track accessing Mt Baldy. Altogether pleasant hike or snowshoe.

Great trail. It is a road for over half of it but numerous trails to explore off the main one. The views are spectacular. Trail was flooded towards the end. Not disappointed I will have to come back to finish.

I found this trail a little boring. The majority of this is walking on forest roads. There’s maybe a 1/2 mile stretch on a narrow portion in thick woods. That portion was pretty and had water running alongside. The ridge has very nice views, but again - too much walking on dirt roads. Also, no shade so don’t do this in full sun.

This trail is (for the most part) a road. Once you get beyond the second junction in the loop it becomes wet, muddy, narrow and sometimes overgrown. Awesome views.

Great trail, good one to take your dog on as it’s pretty wide. The views are spectacular.

At this time of year you need snowshoes to get past the first mile. We were there on 4/16 and had to turn back.

Fun little hike for a couple hours, no one around so you can enjoy the piece and quite.
