This is a fun trail to take your kids on. Make sure to take plenty of water as there are some hill sections but nothing very hard.

First of all, this is more a hunting trail than a hiking trail. You hike into a valley and then up and over a mountain to get out. It was pretty scary because it was just my sister and I, and it is obviously mountain lion territory.
We had a cross a stream several times, so wear water proof shoes.
We go lucky and saw three dear running on the side of a mountain. I can imagine that when flowers are in bloom it is quite pretty, however there were few flowers in bloom in early April, so we didn't see much color.
I think the dead carcass at the beginning of the trail should have been a warning to turn around.
