Great challenging trail, the view on top is well worth of the effort to get there!

HikingGreat!

Great hike, very challenging on the elevation transitions! The view was spectacular! I wore shirts with no brush guards, I’d recommend brush guards for your lower legs or pants. End of September or October is a perfect time for this hike.

Decent trail. Definitely overgrown and sometimes hard to follow. The last bit is pretty steep. The view at the top was awesome!

The hike was not easy by any means. I battled breast cancer for the last 2 years and was still able to hike it. Fun for adventurous kids. The view at the top is worth the hard parts.

As of July 2020 the trail is very overgrown. Doesn't seem to get much use. Also, pretty steep at the beginning.

HikingOver grown

This was a scenic hike. It is very overgrown and there is difficulty in actually seeing the trail several places. The trail is also not marked well. Hiking boots would be preferred but we just went in tennis shoes. There are some steep hiking parts. You can take kids that are a little more adventurous.

A fun hike that’s not too difficult. I would definitely recommend using hiking boots because towards the end it gets pretty steep. They view is definitely worth it and it’s pretty well shaded. The trail is somewhat overgrown though.

Very challenging early on and late in the climb. I would say this was strenuous.

First to Review

The trail starts off very steep. It is an easy trail to access. Elk droppings, Gardner snakes, and beautiful hummingbirds throughout. Carry Bear spray with you, and wear hiking shoes. It’s a beautiful trail with some moderate challenges throughout.
