Kids liked that it was wide and easy but didn’t like the bugs. Wild flowers very nice now.

Fairly easy trail- went at 6:45am and not too many bugs however as the temps warmed up they were coming out in full force. Cute benches to sit and enjoy the scenery. I’m from AZ so I was soaking up all the greenery around me. Took my dog and she loved it!

The trail is actually 2.5 miles, it cost $5 since it’s a state park, LOTS of aggressive mosquitoes, very easy trail with benches placed periodically. Trail head can be two different places, depending where you want to start. Part of the trail is along RVs so that wasn’t the best view, even though the other side was the lake.

Easy tread, mostly old road. Several benches in shade with views of the lovely lake. Fabulous fields of wildflowers. OTOH clouds of mosquitoes, and dire warnings of bears.

What a nice surprise this trail was. The wild flowers were spectacular! The trail was well maintained and markers let you add loops to this trail. It is an easy trail but you can put in at least 6 miles doing the various loops. There are a lot of great views and it is ever changing. Like the others say, I would bring bear spray although we did not see any signs of bears. We hiked this trail the middle of July. It was quite breezy so the insects were not a problem.

Nice little hike for wife, Miles Dog and I. Mosquitoes were everywhere, the struggle is real

Lightly used trail over rough ground. Henrys Lake State Park is a fishing campground. Nice views. Don’t go out of your way to hike this trail.

easy walk. lots of wildlife. Most of the hike is through brush, so you're 100% exposed to the sun, it can get quite hot. we saw a moose and the ranger said there were also a lot if bears

Nice lake near Island Park, ID. Used to come here as a kid and go fishing with my family. It was a good time.
