From Salmon take US93 south to Shoup Bridge. Go right and cross the Salmon River. Follow the pavement for about 2.5 miles to Williams Lake Road, which is just after a rather sharp and blind turn. Take a left onto this road and drive about two miles, park on the right side. Parking is limited so be courteous.

Easy. Great picnic spots along the way. Great trail to take four wheelers and bikes.

Great easy trail. Awesome half day hike. Nice grassy field for lunch. Hot though not much shade for first couple miles. Perfect trail for spring and fall. And it's not a river more like a stream.
