Steep but an awesome hike! Spectacular views. Watch out for snakes.

Great quick hike if you don’t have much time to get away (from Boise, in my case). Super pretty, decent ascent/descent. Best in the spring or fall, as there’s no shade, but doable in summer w/ proper gear/prep. (this applies only if you’re hard-core and need a hike-fix).

One of the best trails in the area. The trail actually extends farther south and guides visitors into a secret rock garden.

Nice hike. The trail is a little steep for short sections, but not difficult. There are a few different branches and routes to take, but I hiked to the top of the butte on the shortest route. Its a cool view of the Snake River and some unique rock formations from the top! The bridge across the river is pretty cool too. It has special decks built into it just for fishing!
