It’s pretty shaded trail with tree’s u can hear the water while hiking up. Its for all skill levels its not that bad a trail. Be careful if u have a dog put him on a leash we almost lost Oliver our labrador he got stucked in the eddy my husband jumped in the water and helped him if not that stream of water will take him somewhere its too fast.

HikingGreat!

Surprisingly pretty trail. Short, dusty, and very high-traffic, but the journey and especially the falls at the end are spectacular! Pretty much all downhill down to the falls (which are a bit over a quarter mile past the bridge over Goose Creek). Scramble down to the base of the falls is loose and kind of steep, but do-able for most. Be prepared for lots of families with small children & dogs. The climb up is a grunt (especially the final half mile) but it's mostly shaded. Overall, a gem of a trail!

This was a really great hike! The trailhead is on the north end of the lot and a little obscure other than that, the trail is clear and definite. The creek is only about 1 mile in and it has a lovely footbridge and great photo ops. The falls are a little further down and so gorgeous, the climb down to the pool below is really the most challenging part of the whole hike, but still accessible enough for most. The water is clear and refreshing and the pool of the falls is really fun to swim and play in. It wasn't too crowded, (We started out about 11am) but by late afternoon when we were headed out it was getting pretty populated. Overall with all of our goofing around AND swimming we completed this one in about 3 1/2 hours. Awesome day trip.

Trail was in great shape! Be prepared for a bit of a climb out. Make sure you wrap around on the other side of the bridge and go all the way to the end for the tallest fall.

well marked and maintained trail. Be sure to go pass the bridge and around . You will get a great view of the Falls. Great for families, dogs and all ages. Save some energy for the uphill hike back.

Beautiful, shaded trail. Keep going over the wooden bridge at the bottom of the ravine and take a left on the trail. The bridge has a waterfall but the actual Goose Creek Falls is a ways down past the bridge.

Beautiful easy hike, bring a hammock. Trail is well-maintained. First part is downhill, the way back can be a little strenuous but not bad.

Awesome hike and highly recommend it. Great spots at the bottom to hang hammocks and relax before starting back up to the top.

Great trail. Would highly recommend. Gorgeous waterfall at the bottom. Definitely a hike though. Downhill the whole way to the falls and uphill the whole way back.

Great hike and incredible falls. My Apple Watch told me I climbed 52 flights coming home. Winded but worth it!

Amazing views! Trail was quite wet as it rained the past few days, but still worth it! Downgrade the majority of the way in and uphill the way back. Will definitely do again!

great hike, low enough for no snow. Up hill about 100 yards then down for most all the hike, can hear the water from the top. had some forest department people working on the trail and they were doing a really good job. bridge at the bottom , water raging. pretty good trek back up. good starter hike for the area.

Great hike. Started before the campground (which is closed) instead of where the app shows. It takes you to the falls, but coming from the opposite direction. I wouldn’t take small children who are adventurous and like to go off trail. The river will swallow up anything that enters it. It was exactly 6 miles round trip.

Great trail. There was a moderate amount snow but nothing unmanageable for kids. Fallen tree across trail about a mile in. About 100 yards past the bridge the trail connects with a stream and there’s water running down the trail but only for a short distance.

Great hike! About 3 miles down and back (if you go a bit past the bridge to the falls). Only a little snow along the way. Was rainy during my trip today, but was still a good short hike!

Beautiful fall day - downhill to the falls and mostly uphill back to the parking lot. Scramble a bit to the bottom of the falls - but it’s doable! Great waterfall and the water is clear, probably a wonderful swimming spot in the summer!

Beautiful snowy day. Trail was well maintained and well marked. True moderate trail because of elevation gain.

Lots of trees kept it well shaded. It’s downhill the whole way there, so a climb all the way back. Not too challenging and some nice views. Would hike again.

Awesome hike when staying in Last Chance campground! The waterfall is absolutely beautiful, and offers gorgeous views over the bridge. You can either start at the top of the trail and hike back up to the parking lot, or start in Last Chance campground, then turn around once you reach the waterfall. If your hiking with a group that wants to split up, some can complete the trail while others turn back for the car. It's not a loop, but it does have starting and ending points in accessible locations.

We loved this hike! Lots of shade on the trails, beautiful views and the waterfall is impressive, especially if you keep hiking past the bridge. The fall colors are starting to show and the weather is perfect. Highly recommend!

This was an all around good trail easy in, harder out. Not very toddler friendly with a steep grade on one side of the trail the whole way. Our 3 year old walked the first .25 mile then had to be strapped into our osprey carrier. Still a fun relatively easy hike not quite the 3 miles it said but close. You get to see the falls from a couple of different angles and the trail connects to some others towards the end. We are excited to explore more in the area.
