Beautiful hike up for the first 2 miles; a fair bit of snow/streams/mud but manageable run sneakers. But after turning left to go to the first peak, snow was much deeper and covering the trail — tried to go around but too muddy for my sneakers. Looked manageable though with better equipment (and great views at this height regardless)

Stunning vistas and steep climbs. Not a route for beginners, moderate to difficult most of the time. The visual rewards are breathtaking and traffic into these sections are minimal.
