Tips

This paved path winds through a city park and along the steep canyon into which the Spokane River tumbles. The falls are most spectacular during spring runoff, and wildflowers such as Buttercups, Grass Widows, and Glacier Lily's can be found along the way.

The path is paved and the whole area is a city park, which features a great playground and a pond.

lovely basically flat trail with a few elevations for Outlook to the beautiful Falls. But winter is definitely here so parts of it were very icy. We used our trekking sticks.

Very short, easy walk. Beautiful views. Mist comes off the dam that is refreshing on a warm day. Picnic in the park to make an afternoon out of it.

Great trail and park! Spring is the best time for the falls. Fun for the kids with a play area and great historical markers.

Very easy, but the falls are spectacular in the spring when the dam is 100% open. Wow!

The falls where low. We went the second week of June so it may not be the best time to see the falls otherwise it was a nice little walk.

After hiking the Old Wagon Trail, we took a side trip to see the dam. The river is roaring at full speed! It is an easy short paved path if you want to check out the river and Dam.
