OK for the first hike of the year but nothing special. Lots of sagebrush, cows, and cow pies so basically meandering through a pasture. Heard lots of birds and had some good views of the valley. Close to Twin Falls which is a plus.

Went on a sunny and windy day end of April. Pretty good trail but somewhat difficult to find your way as there are multiple trails in the area, mostly unmarked. Veered off the trail and had to come back three times. I would suggest having gps on you. Lots of cows, cow pies, and some horseflies in the area. Somewhat dusty too. I would go again.
