I would recommend this trail! I am a college student new to the area and this is the first hike I have done in the area. It is a very nicely marked trail. It is also a nice distance for a nice morning hike before the day. After going up about two miles there is a fork in the trail. Left leads to a trail that goes over a cattle guard then flattened out. I didn’t go very far, but I assume I reached the destination. Right is a game/biking trail that is not official, and it does not appear to go up anymore. It is very beautiful!

loved this trail. Took about 2 hrs there and back, but we took a lot of breaks on the way up. AMAZING views from the top, only a few bugs around the bottom and some livestock. not too difficult of a hike but has a few step parts towards the end

Absolutely beautiful!!! Well maintained and marked. Gorgeous flowers and scenery. A few fairly steep inclines, but mostly fair terrain. Many cows on the trail as it is a "free range" farming area. The trail is mostly covered by trees and shaded. With the breeze it was a very enjoyable hike. The view from the top is spectacular.

The first part of this trail is a fairly boring walk through a creek bottom. Eventually it starts climbing up the hill and the view from the top is worth it.

Went in May, there were so many gorgeous wildflowers. Slight incline, there’s nice cover from the sun, but not from rain!!

One of the best mountain biking descents you can find anywhere. Often shuttled and open to motorized vehicles, be aware of two way traffic. If you're a pedaler, I'd recommend pedalling up mink creek and coming over from elk meadows for a more enjoyable loop.

Rode this trail earlier today. Pretty fair climb up, but nothing insane. Super smooth, flowy ride back down. One of the most enjoyable descents I've ever had. Would highly recommend

This hike is so pretty and not hard at all! It was super snowy today (October 8) but extremely beautiful and enjoyable. I will definitely be doing it again and look forward to trying it in the spring.

Beautiful trail, but we had to turn around two miles up because of snow in April.
