Getting There

Lovely little walk into the wood to a very impressive waterfall. The short loop (with side leg to viewpoint) has been made an interpretive trail with nice signs of basic trees/plants/features seen along the way. Starting elevation is about 3100ft, so watch the snow level early and late season.

Just off highway 95, less than 2 miles south of the boarder. Turn east on forest road 2517 which is signed for Copper Creek Campground. (That looks nice too.) About 2 miles up the road is a small parking/picnic area.

Walking

The trailer was great! A nice easy walk. Paths are well maintained. Beautiful and shady the whole way. There is not path to the falls, but if you don’t mind climbing over rocks and making your own path, it’s easy enough to get to. I have a knee issue and also took a friend of mine with some health problems as well, and neither of us had issues with this hike. Our pups loved it as well! Several benches to sit and enjoy nature or take a break.

Nice little trail. Very short. Very well maintained and a nice waterfall. Only took us about 15 minutes to do the whole thing. Road to trail is a well maintained dirt road.

Quick and easy hike with a big reward. Beautiful wooded and well marked trail with lots of places to stop and take a break. Family friendly and well trafficked.

Great family friendly trail for our group aged 5-11. Short 20 min walk into waterfall where we had lunch and played round the stream a bit. Able to scramble up creek to base of waterfall too. Easy hike, more like an interpretative trail, that allowed plenty of time for appreciating nature and reading signs along the path.

A very well maintained trail that gives you views from the top and bottom of the falls. The “loop” trail will take you to the bottom and then you can go up to the overlook from there and then it’ll bring you back to the start. This is dog friendly and kid friendly. It’s more of a walk than a hike, but it was definitely worth it. There are a couple of picnic tables below the parking lot/pull off and there is a drop toilet there too. The campground a couple miles towards the highway has a bathroom as well.

Two thumbs up from me and my wife. This is the best water falls I've seen in Idaho. It's a easy hike for most ages. I would go now while the water is high.

Short easy nature trail to a waterfall. Easy access on forest road. We hiked it at the beginning of October and did not see anybody while on the walk.

Great little hike, the stream and trails were very nice, the benches were in great condition for the older folks to take a break along the route. Pet friendly area too.

It was short, but a little steep. My mother-in-law had a hard time going up, but the reward of the waterfall at the end was awesome, absolutely beautiful! It would have been nice to have some info about the trail at the trail head. All in all, I give it 3/5 stars.
