Coeur d'Alene River National Recreation Trail is a 27.5 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Murray, Idaho that features a river and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
The trail above Jordan Camp is overgrown and difficult to follow at times beyond the first mile. The trail rises and stays 300-500 feet above the river with only occasional access to the river. Multiple tributary fords. Total solitude over Fourth of July Weekend with great fishing!
