It was unclear where the trail began. It was unmarked. It appears you need to go through a gated community. we thought we weren't going to get through until someone was coming out and we were able to drive through the gate. Once parked on the side of a narrow road in a neighborhood we began walking. It went straight up a grassy side of a hill. It is not for the weak. we did make it to the double track road that takes you to the top. The views were spectacular! I would not recommend this trail.

Once you figure out how to get through the gated community, then it’s straight up the hillside for about an hour until you run into the old logging road that takes you to the top. Trail below is non existent . The view down the lake towards Hope is worth a million bucks. That first hour of bushwhacking can be a little tough......

This trail has not maintained for awhile. We got lost and had to climb for hours through burned and fallen trees across steep terrain. The trail was no where to be found and the all trails map mis- marked the location of local roads.

As of 10-16-19 this trail is not accessible, there is a gated community before you get anywhere close to the trail.
